What this app does

Restaurant Calculator Pro is a professional restaurant calculator for fast check splitting, tips, percentages, and everyday keypad calculations on iPhone and iPad.

Basic usage

Enter an amount on the keypad.
Use the arithmetic keys for standard calculations, or open SPLIT, TIP, or PERCENTAGE for restaurant tools.
Use HISTORY to review calculations from the current session.

SPLIT

Enter a check total, tap SPLIT, and choose how many cards. Each card charge appears immediately. Remaining cents are assigned to the final card so the charges add up to the check. Example: $100 split 3 ways is $33.33, $33.33, and $33.34.

TIP

Enter a subtotal, tap TIP, and choose a common tip percentage or enter a custom tip. The tip amount and new total appear immediately. Example: $100 at 20% is a $20 tip and a $120 total. You can then split that tipped total.

PERCENTAGE

PERCENTAGE is a general percentage calculator, not a restaurant tip tool. Enter a base amount, tap PERCENTAGE, and choose a percentage. You can use the percentage amount, add it to the base, or subtract it from the base. Example: 10% of $500 is $50.

HISTORY

HISTORY shows completed calculations from the current session, including keypad results, splits, tips, and percentages. It is session-only and is cleared when you close the app.

Troubleshooting

If the display shows Error after an invalid calculation such as division by zero, tap AC to clear and continue.
If a restaurant tool does not open, tap AC, enter the amount again, and open the tool from the keypad.
HISTORY is empty until you complete at least one calculation in the current session.
Portrait and landscape are supported on iPhone and iPad.
